Agrinnovate India Limited (AgIn), New Delhi organised the ICAR CSR & Technology Portfolio Roadshow 2026 on June 20, 2026 with the objective of showcasing the technology portfolio of ICAR institutes, strengthening industry linkages, and exploring opportunities for collaborative partnerships through CSR initiatives. A total of 85 participants, including industry representatives from several companies, Directors of ICAR institutes, Scientists, and other stakeholders participated in the event which showcased agricultural Innovations in order to build industry partnerships. Dr. Gopal Lal, Joint Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad, welcomed all the dignitaries and the participants and highlighted the importance of this event in building collaborations with industry for accelerating agricultural innovation and technology dissemination. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Raman Meenakshi Sundaram, Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad, emphasized the role of research institutions and industry partnerships in transforming agricultural technologies into impactful solutions for farmers and agri-enterprises. A presentation on “Capabilities of ICAR and CSR Funding Opportunities” was delivered by Dr. Praveen Malik, CEO, AgIn. The major highlight of the programme was the presentation on the Technology Portfolio of ICAR Institutes, in which team leaders from various ICAR institutes presented the innovations and technologies in five thematic areas covering the three states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. on critical themes viz., 1) Climate Proofing of Indian Agriculture by Dr. Tara Satyavathi, Director, ICAR-IIMR, Hyderabad 2) Soil Health Improvement through Nature-Based Solutions and Diversification of Crops by Dr. J.V.N.S.Prasad, Project Coordinator, AICRPDA, ICAR-CRIDA, Hyderabad 3) Agriculture for Health by Dr. S.B. Barbuddhe, Director, ICAR-NMRI, Hyderabad 4) Agriculture Skilling by Dr. Shaik N. Meera, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Hyderabad and 5) Women in Agriculture and Extension by Dr. Mridula Devi, Director, ICAR-CIWA, Bhubaneswar. The event was also addressed online by Shri Gyanendra Dev Tripathi, Additional Secretary, DARE & Secretary, ICAR, who highlighted the importance of strengthening partnerships between research organization and industries. Dr. D.K. Yadava, DDG (CS), ICAR, shared his perspectives on the significance of technology commercialization, capacity building, and collaborative research approaches. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Ramasubramanian V, Head, Research Systems Management (RSM) Division, ICARNAARM, Hyderabad & Nodal Officer for the event. Also, a brainstorming session chaired by Dr. D.K. Yadava, DDG (CS), ICAR, featuring one-to-one interactions between Heads of ICAR institutes, industry representatives, and the AgIn team was held.
