A milestone for agricultural innovation:

The ICAR Technology Portfolio for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Conclave 2026, jointly organized by ICAR and Agrinnovate India Limited, brought together over 150 representatives from 75 industries, along with 570 online participants and 1,600+ YouTube viewers, to build meaningful partnerships for transforming Indian agriculture.

From climate-resilient agriculture and soil health to agricultural skilling, women in agriculture, and farmer-centric innovations, the conclave demonstrated how science, industry, and CSR can work together to create measurable impact at the grassroots.

We are encouraged by the commitments from leading corporates and CSR organizations to collaborate with ICAR and Agrinnovate through CSR and R&D initiatives. Together, we can accelerate technology adoption, strengthen farmers’ livelihoods, and build a more sustainable agricultural future.

The ICAR Technology Portfolio for CSR Conclave 2026 reaffirmed that collaboration between research institutions and industry is the key to translating innovations into field-ready solutions for farmers.

Following four successful regional CSR Roadshows across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kolkata, the conclave culminated in strong corporate interest and commitments to support the scaling of ICAR technologies through CSR and R&D partnerships.

As Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan remarked, "The country gives us everything; we too should learn to give something back." This vision inspires us to make agricultural innovation a shared national responsibility.
